CONCLUSION

Comics are a visual language, and for me, the method in which you draw (soft, emotional material versus harsh and clean digital or marker pens) determines the tone of the message that is translated to the reader.

Professional comic artists often do not work full time for companies, and most Comic artists work on a project basis with some companies who they have made connections with whilst doing their own freelance work.

This is why I have come to learn that, as I am interested in the freelance side of comic/narrative illustration, that building connections with companies and working to build a strong online presence as well as a wealthy portfolio is very important, and something I will focus on.
